The Gingerbread Man Exchange is designed for Grades PreK - 1. Each class will create 25 gingerbread men to send to other classes around the world.
Included with each gingerbread man should be a letter from the class telling a little about the class, location where you live and your school. Gingerbread men
may be any size and may be made from any material. Teachers are responsible for postage for the 24 gingerbread men your class is sending (you will keep
one of your classes' gingerbread men to start your collection!) Teachers may use the gingerbread exchange in their classrooms as they see fit. We use it to
begin teaching about geography, the United States and World, and about other people. Please only sign up if you are able to commit to this project.
Gingerbread Exchange sign up will take place at this website from NOW - November 30th. Approximately December 1st, we will send you an email with
your name and address and the names and addresses of 24 other classrooms participating in your Gingerbread Exchange. One year we had over 75
participating classes! Gingerbread men will need to be sent out NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 10th to ensure arrival at all schools before Winter Break!
